These tiny little espresso cups are incredibly tactile. They are the cup version of a little pebble in your pocket. They hold exactly the rite amount for a standard double espresso or in my case an intense bitter raw cacao.

I have made this new glossy blue using wood ash from our fireplace, the remains of the ash trees that heat our house. It’s been hard to watch beautiful trees fall around the valley, so I decided to create an “Ode to the Ash”. The result was this gloriously glossy blue glaze.
